Daniel Saltee Architects Inc. is seeking a Revit Designer with Revit experience.  This position will give the right applicants(s) the opportunity to participate in all phases of design in both commercial and residential projects from start to finish.

The position involves working directly with the principal and depending on the level of experience, may work directly with contractors, consultants, and clients.  We are looking for the right candidate(s) to grow with the firm and expand their responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide BIM support for project teams, including trouble shooting and project model set up, content development, loading Revit links from consultants and file export.

  • Responsible for preparing presentation drawings and models and developing designs throughout all phases of the project.

  • Generate revisions and corrections from redline drawings.


  • Proficiency in Revit – minimum 1-3 years producing construction document sets.  Intermediate – Expert Revit knowledge required.

  • Should live close to Ventura.

  • Preferred Bachelor or Master degree in Architecture.

Ventura College Instructor

Daniel has begun teaching at Ventura College as part of the Architecture team. He is leading BIM modeling using Revit of historically relevant pieces of architecture including the Ventura Mission, Case Study #22 and the Robert Venturi house.

Daniel gives presentaion to Ventura College Students.

Daniel Saltee recently was in the Ventura  County Star for giving a keynote speech to the students at Ventura College Architecture program. Daniel attended Ventura College before going to SCI-Arc for his bachelor of Architecture.
