Experience and Perspective

The studio draws on more than 20 years of professional experience across a wide range of project types, including complex civic, cultural, and institutional buildings now in active public use. Over the course of his career, Dan Saltee has contributed to large, multidisciplinary design teams delivering projects such as Shanghai Disneyland, the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden, and the Advanced Water Purification Facility Visitors Center.

This experience informs the studio’s design perspective, with an emphasis on coordination, technical rigor, and real-world constructability across projects of varying scale and complexity.

Saltee Architecture Workshop was established by Dan Saltee, AIA, as a boutique architectural practice grounded in clarity, craft, and purpose.

The studio is currently focused on internal process development and conceptual exploration.
